HISTORY OF STREET FIGHTER MARKETING
Street Fighter Marketing was founded in 1980 by Jeff Slutsky born out of a frustration with traditional media. The focus was developing cutting edge tactics for generating increases sales on the community or neighborhood level. Several years later his brother, Marc Slutsky joined the company and together they have served clients in numerous industries in their desire to make their advertising and marketing more cost efficient with their grassroots approach and “guerilla” style tactics. In addition to developing and implementing comprehensive local marketing programs, they also provide dynamic keynote speeches and seminars, primarily for corporate and trade associations annual conventions. Street Fighter Marketing has received a great deal of national attention over the years including feature stories in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Inc. Magazine, Success Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Sun Times, The San Francisco Chronical and a host of others as well as a syndicated column distributed by Knight-Ridder.
